Our LCS Lincolnton Campus has been recognized as one of several districts and high schools across the nation for having the highest-performing high-school-in-college scholars in the nation!

Last spring, six of our high school students participated in the Ed Equity Lab's program, and the results were exciting. Four of them, Noah Burch, Robert Jordan, Trent Clark, and Elizabeth Bennett, achieved an extraordinary feat by making the honor roll.

Ed Equity Lab is a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to revolutionizing the educational landscape and ensuring equitable opportunities for all students. This is an opportunity to earn college credit in high school through an organization whose mission is to bring opportunities to underserved schools and students.

Collaboration is a cornerstone of the Ed Equity Lab. They bring together educators, policymakers, researchers, and community leaders to engage in meaningful dialogue and share best practices. Through these partnerships, they foster an environment where innovative ideas can thrive and where systemic change becomes possible.

For this past year, we offered the Sociology class through Arizona State University as part of the Ed Equity Lab's commitment to providing high-quality, accessible education. With the success of the program, we hope to offer it again next semester.

This week, students were able to attend a remote induction to the National Ed Equity Honor Society and were provided with a recommendation letter from the CEO of Ed Equity to submit alongside college applications. They heard from special guest speaker, Logan Powell, the Dean of Admissions at Brown University. Elizabeth expressed gratitude for the opportunity to take a class through Ed Equity saying, “I think it is a great program for Lincoln Charter School.”
