• Do not allow your child to bring toys to school.

• Send an extra set of clothes including shoes and socks in a zip lock bag with your child's full name. 

• Use of cell phones or other smart devices are not permitted during arrival or dismissal.

• Student may NOT be pick up 30 minutes before dismissal. 

• When entering and exiting the lot, RIGHT TURNS ONLY 

             (Per City of Dallas ordinance)

Attendance is very important! 

A doctor's note will be needed for children missing 3 or more days.

Once a student is enrolled, compulsory attendance is required, which means truancy rules apply. 

Please make every effort to have your child at school on time, each day. 

If your child is absent more than five days, you will need to attend a parent conference with the school principal. 

   Excuse notes may be, emailed (attendance@laetx.org), uploaded to the app. or brought into  

   the office. 

The school uniform is a light blue or white polo shirt with khaki or navy bottoms. 

Students may wear jeans if they wear a shirt with the school logo or Bono Shirts. 

 For safety reasons, we ask that students wear closed toe shoes.  

Please write your child's name on tags for jackets and sweaters.

School polo and t-shirts will be available through Azteka Sports.

• Right Turns ONLY into and out of the parking lot

• When entering drive all the way around the parking lot.

• Pull all the way up to the car ahead.

• Children should be on the right side of the car for safer loading/unloading.

• Use of cell phone and other smart devices are not permitted during arrival or dismissal.

• Dash board signs must be displayed or you will be asked to park and come in to pick your child up

• Walkers will not be dismissed until the parking lot has cleared.

Parent involvement is critical for student success. 

At La Academia de Estrellas, we value you (our parents) our partners in education your child. 

We expect that all parents will invest time and share their talents by volunteering. There are many ways to volunteer, several of which are listed below. Parents who have more than 20 volunteer hours assisting will be first ones asked to attend school events. All volunteers must undergo a background check and a brief training session. These training sessions will be scheduled several times throughout the school year. We look forward to seeing you at La Academia de Estrellas Charter School. Where students Shine!
