Nominations Open for Naming Elementary Schools #35, #36, #37, and #38

The Lamar CISD Board of Trustees is taking nominations for the names of four new elementary schools. These schools will be built with funds from the November 2022 Bond.

Staff, parents, and community members are invited to submit nominations for the Board to review as a part of this process.

Nominations must be completed and returned to the Chief Communications Office no later than September 22, 2023. Be sure to include your name, address, email, and phone number.

Before submitting your nomination, please review Board Policy CW (LOCAL) which outlines the requirements for naming a facility.

The Board of Trustees is tentatively scheduled to approve the school names on November 14, 2023.
