As the school year ends, Lamar CISD would like to spotlight the remarkable accomplishments from the class of 2023. The group of 2,700 seniors has been awarded more than $31.3 million in scholarships and will graduate from five different campuses including Foster, Fulshear, George Ranch, Lamar Consolidated, and Terry High Schools.
Sebastian Hinojosa, who started as a kindergartener at Smith Elementary, will also end his K12 educational journey with the district as a graduating senior from Lamar Consolidated High School. After graduation, he plans to attend Texas State Technical College to complete the electrical lineman program.
Hinojosa said, “Lamar CISD has given me the opportunity to grow and learn from my mistakes. Those lessons have gotten me to where I am today, a graduate ready to take on the world.”
Additionally, one graduating senior is selected as Valedictorian and Salutatorian from each campus for stellar academic excellence, and these students are listed below:

- Fulshear High School: Valedictorian Chancellor Joseph | Salutatorian Sanidh Shah
- George Ranch High School: Valedictorian Alexis Prevette | Salutatorian Stephanie Hudd
- Lamar Consolidated High School: Valedictorian Natalie Gee | Salutatorian Rene Martinez
- Terry High School: Valedictorian Pamela Arreguin | Salutatorian Giovanni Fuentes
The district’s five commencement ceremonies will be held consecutively beginning on Wednesday, May 17 through Sunday, May 21 at 8:00 p.m. at the Guy K. Traylor Stadium located at 1000 E. Stadium Drive, Rosenberg, Texas 77471.
