Welcome to Wright JH Library!

About the Library Program

Wright Junior High Library offers a variety of services for WJH students. Students may check out books, use computers for research, Makerspace, or work in the library on homework or class assignments. Students are required to check in and have a pass from a teacher in order to be in the library.

Online Catalog

If you are interested in checking out a book from the library, the online catalog will help you to locate the book that you are looking for.  Using the catalog, you can search for a book, see the top ten books in our library, and see a list of the new books that have been added to the collection.  Click HERE to find the perfect book!

Book Checkout

Please note that all library books are due two weeks from the date that they are checked out.  Students may check the due dates of their books at any time by logging in to Destiny Quest (the WJH Library Catalog) and clicking on the "My Info" tab.  If books are not returned on time, future book checkouts will be limited.

Damaged Books

When a book is returned damaged beyond repair, the replacement cost of the book will be charged. Damage to library materials includes but is not limited to: spills from food, drink or other substances, damage to cover or spine, cutting or tearing pages, writing with pencil, pen, markers, etc.

Lost Books

Once a book is 30 days past due, students will be charged for the replacement cost of the book. If the book is found and returned in good condition (during the school year), the amount paid (minus applicable late fees) will be refunded.

Payment

Cash or personal checks are acceptable forms of payment to cover the replacement cost of damaged or lost books.  Please make personal checks out to Wright Jr. High.

Returning Books

All books should be returned in the library book drop slot, which is located at the end of the circulation desk.  If the library is closed, students should turn their library books in the Mobile Book Return outside the library doors.  It is the student's responsibility to return library books on or before the due date.

Library Canvas Course

Stay up to date by enrolling into the library Canvas course. You'll get details on library events, programming, technology tips and how-to videos.
