Memorial Hermann - PaRC Adolescent Program (substance abuse)
Memorial Hermann Prevention and Recovery Center (PaRC) has a 30-year, award winning history of treating alcoholism, drug addiction and dual diagnosis. PaRC staff includes physicians certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine as well as psychiatrists and other professionals licensed in addiction counseling, nursing, psychology and social work. PaRC’s treatment experts know that alcoholism and drug addiction affect every aspect of a person’s life. PaRC’s treatment programs are multifaceted, offering educational, therapeutic and medical programs necessary for successful long-term recovery.

Memorial Hermann School-Based Health Centers
Memorial Hermann Community Benefit Corporation partners with five school districts, including Lamar Consolidated, for its Health Centers for Schools program designed to provide a "medical home" for uninsured and Medicaid children, k-12th grade. The program offers access to primary medical care, dental care, mental health counseling, social service referral, and nutrition counseling. Each of the ten clinics is staffed by a nurse practitioner/physician assistant, social worker, licensed vocational nurse, and receptionist with dietitian support and physician oversight provided. The centers are open year round, five days a week and serve students in the schools' designated elementary, middle and high school feeder patterns.

West Oak Hospital
West Oaks Hospital in Houston, Texas, provides a full continuum of integrated services to meet the needs of patients suffering from mental illness and/or chemical dependency problems. We are committed to providing quality psychiatric care facilitated by compassionate and skilled staff. West Oak Hospital offers the community a broad range of inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services forchildren, adolescents, and adults. We have a Residential Treatment Center (RTC) that provides a chemical dependency (substance abuse treatment) partial hospital program with boarding level of care. We have a rehab level of care which is covered by Medicare, where the average length of stay is between 14-19 days. This program is a 20-bed unit where we assist patients in securing long term care upon discharge. We also provide Al-Anon and DBSA meetings on a regular basis. Our physician directed staff of registered nurses, social workers, therapists, mental health technicians, and certified alcohol and drug counselors bring both skill and compassion to each patients individualized treatment experience.
