Houston County Virtual School students have the option to enroll in
dual enrollment courses beginning in 10th grade. Houston County Schools
is in partnership with Wallace College and Enterprise State College to offer
students a variety of options.
Dual enrollment means students take college courses while enrolled in
high school earning both college and high school credits.Courses are around $500 and are given at the Houston County Career Academy
or can be taken online. Some technical program classes are free for
the student. Certain scores on the ACT and/or gpa requirements exist.If you think you may be interested contact your counselor Cathy Keasler
