 HCHS strives to provide  support and necessary tools needed for all HCHS students to be successful in today's society and become lifelong readers.  We have a great collection with something for everybody! Students are welcome in the media center throughout the day. Middle School comes weekly to check out books. Our certified media specialist and library aide are onsite and available to help students.

Mission Statement: 

The mission of the Houston County High School library program is to empower students to be critical thinkers, effective and ethical users and producers of ideas and information, and lifelong readers and learners, in order for them to become productive citizens in a global society.
