Wendy Lewis grew up and attended school in Dothan where she graduated from Dothan High School. She started her career in education as a teacher's aide. After many years as an aide, she decided to pursue a teaching degree. Mrs. Lewis attended and graduated from Troy University-Dothan with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.

Mrs. Lewis is married to Clay Lewis and they have three children: Crystal, Jessica, and Cody. She enjoys being an active member of her church, spending time with her family, and traveling.
