Mr. McLendon is currently in his 16th year at Rehobeth Middle School/High School.  Under Mr. McLendon, the program has evolved into a large band program with 200 students grades 6-12.  The High School program makes superior ratings consistently in marching band and concert band.  The program has several district honor band and all state members every year.  I attended Troy State University, while at Troy State University, I was trumpet section leader, band captain and soloist with the nationally acclaimed Sound of the South Marching Band.  I was also principal trumpet in the Symphony Band and Chamber Winds, as well as Lead trumpet player in the Jazz band.  I also participated in the Basketball Pep Band.  I have been married to my wife, Sarah, for over 14 years.  Sarah is a music teacher in Enterprise.  I have two children, Christian(12) and Connor(8).  I am a big fan of Troy athletics and enjoy watching college football and basketball.
