My name is Tracy Ziglar Gantt. I was born in Covington County, where I lived most of my childhood. My family moved to Dothan in October of 2000. I am married to Bryan Gantt. We have two girls and one granddaughter.  

I received an Associate Degree in Science from Wallace Community College. I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Troy University of Dothan.    

Experience

I have always loved working with children. During my high school years, I earned credits by aiding in a second grade classroom at Straughn Elementary School.

I was hired in January of 2004 by Dothan City Schools as a Special Education Aide at Dothan City Schools. I worked with autistic children for six years. Most of my children were non-verbal. I accompanied my autistic students into the regular education classroom for social skills. This was a very humbling experience!

Once I graduated from Troy University of Dothan, I was hired as a third grade teacher at Dothan City Schools. After one year, I moved to a kindergarten class where I taught for my remaining two years at Dothan City Schools.

I joined the Rehobeth Elementary family during the 2015-2016 school year, teaching first grade. I am proud to be part of the rebel family!
