I have been teaching since 2008. I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education with certification to teach 6th-8th grade science, math, and history, as well K-12 physical education and health. I started my career in Lawrence County, where I was a teacher and coach for 9 years. I spent most of that teaching 6th grade reading. After leaving Lawrence County, I went to Russellville City Schools, where I taught 6th-8th grade science and physical education. I taught in Russellville for 4 years before deciding to move to the Hartselle area. I am currently teaching Girls Physical Education and coaching the 7th and 8th grade volleyball team.
My family and I moved to Hartselle in 2021. My husband, Chris and I have been married since 2008. We have three sons. Their names are Whit, Reese, and Trey. We enjoy spending time at various sporting events.
I am excited about this school year, and I cannot wait to share all the different physical education units with the students.
