GEP Program Goals
Independent Study
- To improve the ability to think and act independently.
- To develop research skills involving the compilation, evaluation, and presentation of data.
- To identify and analyze a problem and evaluate implementation of possible solutions.
- To organize and arrange time and activities to the best advantage.
Critical Thinking
- To develop and expand the ability to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information.
- To identify the parts of an idea as well as recognize the relationships and organization of those parts.
