Hardin ISD will be participating in the following Federal Programs during the 2021-2022 school year:
Title I, Part A – Improving Basic Programs Operated by Local Education Agencies
Title I, Part C – Education of Migratory Children
Title II, Part A – Supporting Effective Instruction
Title III, Part A – English Language Acquisition
Title IV, Part A – Student Support and Academic Enrichment
Title V, Part B – Rural and Low Income Schools Program
Carl D. Perkins - Strengthening Career and Technical Education
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA-B Formula and Preschool)
ESSER II and III
Teachers, paraprofessionals, principals, other school personnel, parents, community members and business representatives are invited to the 2021-2022 meeting on Monday, June 21 at 6:00 p.m. The focus of this meeting, to be held at the Hardin High School Library, will include planning the 2021-2022 program activities and receiving input into the preparation of the application for funding. A key focus will be the coordination and integration of these funding sources and programs into the educational system of Hardin ISD. During the meeting, staff from Title I Schoolwide Campuses will be present to give parents a draft of a Title I, Part A Parent and Family Engagement Policy and School/Parent Compact/Pledge. We are requesting input for these two documents to ensure that Parent Involvement is exemplary.
