The Class of 2021 gifted Germantown CSD an Ivory Silk Japanese Lilac Tree to be planted and known as “The Tree of Resilience”.
This tree is intended to symbolize the resilience shown by all Germantown Clippers during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Furthermore, the tree’s white flowers are to forever represent the hope held onto during such challenging times.
The Tree of Resilience was planted on Sunday and is located in front of the Elementary School playground.
