First Graders are learning Brazilian Portuguese! Mrs. Castello, a parent of a first grader, read students a story, taught them how to count to 10, and taught a few phrases. We can’t wait for her next lesson!

First Graders in Mrs. Krager’s class visited the school garden this week and cut a watermelon that they planted when they were in kindergarten last year! They ate the watermelon and then planted the seeds around the garden. Let’s see if any new watermelons grow!
