Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

We trust this message finds you in good health and high spirits. As the new school year approaches, we are excited to announce the introduction of a revised parking policy.

To ensure a smooth implementation of this policy, we kindly remind all Juniors and Seniors interested in obtaining a parking permit to meet the following criteria:

  • Academic Eligibility: Students must have maintained their academic eligibility standards as of June 2023. We believe that a strong commitment to academics aligns with responsible parking privileges.
  • Materials and Obligations: Students should not have any outstanding obligations regarding school materials or dues. We appreciate your prompt attention to these matters.
  • Previous Parking Pass: Returning students are required to hand in their previous year’s parking pass. This helps us manage parking inventory and maintain an efficient system.
  • Completed Parking Form: Please ensure that the new parking form is duly completely filled out. This information aids us in ensuring accurate records for each student.

Parking within our school premises is viewed as a privilege rather than an entitlement. To uphold a safe and respectful environment, students are expected to adhere to the code of conduct as outlined in the student handbook. Failure to do so could result in the forfeiture of parking privileges.

Starting August 28, students are welcome to visit our premises between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, to collect the required parking form. Kindly remember to bring a copy of your valid driver’s license for verification purposes. Once the completed form is returned to us, students will be assigned designated parking spaces for the upcoming school year. It is imperative that the parking pass issued to students is returned upon the conclusion of the school year.

Should you have any inquiries or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out to Leah Martin, our Attendance Aide, at 518-537-6281 ext. 2301, or Deanna Heuer, our Jr/Sr High School Secretary, at ext. 2311.

While we understand that summer days are coming to a close, we sincerely hope you’ve had a rejuvenating break. We eagerly anticipate your return to school and look forward to the year ahead.

Wishing you all the best,

Stacy Hilton
Germantown Jr/Sr High School Principal
