Taking place on Friday, May 12, 2023, The Garrison Youth Climate Summit will be a celebration of science and nature! Our goal is to foster a passion for our local environment and to showcase the wide variety of careers in the STEAM industry to our K-8 students. Students will experience place-based learning through hands-on experiences alongside experts both in our School Forest and the green spaces around the Garrison campus. Highlights will include:

  1. Birds of Prey encounters with the Sharon Audobon
  2. A visit from the BOCES Green Machine
  3. Explorations of biomimicry
  4. Plant survival in outer space and human survival in the wild
