Nicole Nguyen-Le
Welcome to Second Grade and Room 121!
Dear Families,
My name is Mrs. Le and this is my 13th year working at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School. This is my 3rd year as a second grade teacher--prior to teaching second grade I was a Kindergarten teacher for 6 years! I have always wanted to become a teacher and am so thankful that I have been able to spend the last 13 years helping the students in Framingham become lifelong readers and learners.
In second grade your child will continue to strengthen his/her reading and writing skills. In math we will be learning more about addition, subtraction, measurement, time, money, and place value. Our content units focus on community, habitats, culture, scientists, engineers, geography, and erosion. My goal as a teacher is to always make sure that every student feels safe, respected and welcome. If you ever have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I am looking forward to having a fun and exciting year with your child!
In case you wanted to know a little more about me, I have a Master’s degree in Literacy and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, both from Framingham State. I am also a licensed Early Childhood teacher, Elementary teacher, and Reading Specialist. When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my husband, two children, and our two dogs. We love being outside, going to parks and beaches, traveling, and of course I love reading :)
