• Falconer School Scholarship Application
     

    Applicants graduating from Falconer High School qualify for the scholarships listed below. By completing this application, you will be considered for all scholarships listed below. 

    The application deadline is May 1st

    Important: Once you start the application, you must complete and submit it in one session, as you will not be able to access your information again.

    • Hector J. & Anne Mareri Vocational Scholarship Fund: To assist a Falconer graduating senior student(s) majoring in a vocational field.

    • Bert Day/Acu-Rite Memorial Scholarship: Student attending a junior college, trade school, business school or four-year college.

    • Falconer Education Association: Student is a graduating senior of Falconer Central School pursuing a college course of study in the field of education, counseling, social work, psychology, or nursing. You must have a high school GPA of 85%.  Ranked in the top 20% of the graduating class. *A special application is required. See your Guidance Counselor.

    • Falconer Midget Football Scholarship Fund: To assist a senior student(s) who participated in Falconer Midget, Junior Varsity and Varsity football or was a member of the Midget, Junior Varsity, and Varsity football cheer-leading squad at Falconer Central School. Students must have demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship and team leadership. Preference will be given to a student pursuing a career in sports/athletics. *A special application is required. See your Guidance Counselor.

    • Falconer Rotary Club Scholarship Fund: Graduating senior with a "B" or better G.P.A. depicting the character traits of "Service Above Self," well-rounded, high ethical standards, good will, and service to the community. 

    • Gene L. Sadowski Memorial Vocational Scholarship Fund: To assist a Falconer High School graduating senior student(s) majoring in a vocational field. Priority is given to a student who has not received other scholarship assistance.

    • G. Merwin Jones Memorial Scholarship: To assist a Falconer High School graduating senior student(s) with academic achievement and financial need, majoring in a science-related or medical field with a priority given to a science-related field.

    • Dee & Zira James Memorial Scholarship: Graduating senior with financial need majoring in foreign language or industrial arts with teaching as a priority. 

    • Jeremy Wright Kinnear Memorial Scholarship Fund: Graduating senior from Falconer Central School who has participated in the music program, band, orchestra, or choral for their entire four years of high school and will be attending Jamestown Community College or SUNY at Fredonia. Priority should be given to a student living in a single-parent household.

    • Kathryn Sweet Mee, Class of 1934 Scholarship: Graduate with a "B" (80%) average or better, well-rounded student with financial needs. 

    • Patrick Morales Memorial Scholarship Fund: To assist a male high school senior served by Falconer Central School with academic achievement, organized school athletic participation, and active community involvement. A character reference letter is required. 

    • Todd and Rosanne Traniello Memorial Scholarship: To assist graduating from Falconer Central School senior(s), with a C or better G.P.A., who has participated in two or more extracurricular activities, demonstrates the qualities/traits of kindness, perseverance, and stewardship a financial need. An essay is required. *A special application is required. See your Guidance Counselor.

    • Rodney A. Vanstrom Memorial Scholarship Fund: To assist graduating high school seniors from Falconer Central and Southwestern Central Schools who have a "B" or better G.P.A. with financial needs who are studying criminal justice. 

    • Robert and Katherine Van Every Falconer High School Scholarship:  To assist a graduating senior(s) who is a hard-working, conscientious student demonstrating a good work ethic, in spite of life circumstances that may impede progress. Students must pursue higher education at a trade school, college, or university.

    • Christine G. Watt Scholarship: Graduating senior attending a Christian college, and secondary an engineering major with financial needs.

    • Marikay and Stanley Kimball Scholarship Fund: To assist Falconer Central School graduating senior student(s) majoring in agriculture, conservation, environmental science, animal science, communications, journalism, or forestry. Priority will be given to a student attending Ohio State University or Cornell University.

    • Arnold R. Johnson Honorary Scholarship Fund: To assist a graduating high school senior student(s) from Falconer Central School with a "B" or better G.P.A. who is well-rounded and exhibits high ethical standards.

    • Billy Eskeli Scholarship Fund: To assist a graduating high school senior with good character, who is humble, well-rounded, with proven excellent academic achievement, having participated in extracurricular activities, with first preference given to students majoring in mechanical engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology. Secondary preference will be given to an engineering student at Rochester Institute of Technology. The next preference is for mechanical engineering students attending any four-year college, and if not met, any engineering major at a four-year college. The final consideration for a student majoring in a STEM field at any four-year college. *A special application is required. See your Guidance Counselor.
