  • 8th Grade Applicants

    1) Complete the online AVID application below.

    THE DEADLINE IS FEBRUARY 14, 2025

    2) Ask one current teacher to complete the teacher recommendation form linked below.  

    3) Pre-register for the AVID 9 elective class with your Arroyo High School counselor in January/February.

  • AHS 9th & 10th Grade Applicants

    1) Complete the online AVID application below.

    THE DEADLINE IS APRIL 18, 2025

    2) Ask one current teacher to complete the teacher recommendation form linked below.  

    3) Pre-register for the AVID elective class with your counselor.

    You will need to have a Gmail account in order to access the application through Google Forms. If you are an 8th grade student with an email account through your middle school in El Monte, then your school email is a Gmail account.

  • Teacher Recommendation Form

    AVID applicants are required to submit a recommendation form from a current teacher. You can ask a teacher for a recommendation by sending them the link to the Teacher Recommendation Form.
