Stay informed and mark your calendars! Below are important upcoming events and deadlines for EHS seniors and their families.

📸 Senior Slideshow Photo Deadline – May 4

Important!
The last day to submit photos for the Senior Slideshow is May 4.
If your photos are not received by the deadline, your senior will NOT be included in the slideshow.

📣 Senior Signing Day Registration Deadline – May 8

Senior Signing Day is a nationally recognized assembly that celebrates the achievements of seniors as they commit to post-secondary programs.
To participate, your senior must complete the registration form located in the "Class of 2025" Google Classroom by May 8.

📝 Senior Walking Partner Sign-Ups – May 13

Both walking partners must be present to sign up.
If one partner attends BBCC, a text will be sufficient to verify the walking partnership.

Outstanding Senior Award Assembly
🕗 8:37 AM — Students only
Each department nominates students for Outstanding Senior and Grit Awards. Chosen seniors are announced at an all-school assembly.

May 12

Senior Parent Planning Meeting 
🕕 6:00 PM at Pita Pit
📣 We encourage all senior parents to be there! Note: This group is not affiliated with the Ephrata School District.

May 16

Outstanding Senior Award Luncheon
🕛 12:00 PM at EHS Beezley Gym
Invitation-only event for students recognized at the May 8 assembly and their families

May 23

Scholarship Reporting Deadline
📣 Last day to notify Mrs. Hagy (509) 754-5285 if your senior has received a scholarship you'd like announced at Senior Awards Night (May 27) and/or included in the graduation program.

May 27

Senior Awards Ceremony (NEW FORMAT - EVENING EVENT)
🕡 6:30 PM at EHS PAC
Open to seniors and their families (juniors encouraged to attend to plan for next year)
Scholarships and awards will be announced

May 28

Senior Signing Day
🕗 8:37 AM at all-school assembly
Open to seniors and their families
Celebrate seniors' attending universities, 2-year colleges, technical schools as well as those joining the military

Senior Sunset
⛅ Time TBD at EHS Kiwanis Field
Open to EHS senior students only. Includes BBQ and movie.

May 30

Deadline to Meet Graduation Requirements
📣 All coursework, project and homework must be completed and submitted to teachers for grading. Failure to submit work on time with passing grades may result in the loss of the privilege to participate in the commencement ceremony. Please see School Board Policy 2410 and Procedure 2410P for more details.

If you have any concerns about your student meeting the May 30 deadline or your student's grades/graduation status, please reach out to teachers and counselors as soon as possible.

Check-Out Day
🎓Seniors must attend all their classes. Please pick up check-out sheets from the Counseling Center in the morning and return all books and materials to each class as you check out. Fees and fines will be recorded during the class period.

Seniors’ Last Day of School / Check-Out Day
🎓 8:30 a.m. Turn in all Chromebooks, covers and cords in the library and pay all fees and fines in the office.. All fines/fees must be paid by the end of the day to avoid delays in diploma distribution.

Senior Class Meeting (Mandatory)
🕘 9:00 AM in the EHS Main Gym

June 3

Baccalaureate
🕖 7:00 PM at EHS PAC
This is a religious service organized by the Ministerial Association for seniors and their families - attendance is optional.

June 4

Graduation Practice #1 (Mandatory)
🕣 8:30–10:00 AM at EHS Kiwanis Field
Open to seniors only

EHS Seniors Walk Through Elementary Schools
🕚 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
Open to seniors only 
Seniors will be bussed to the elementary schools to celebrate their accomplishments with some of the staff who have supported their journey.

Senior Slideshow & Desserts
🕖 7:00 PM in the EHS Commons
Open to seniors and their immediate families

June 5

Graduation Practice #2 (Mandatory)
🕣 8:30–10:00 AM at EHS Kiwanis Field
Open to seniors only

Graduation Practice #3 (Mandatory)
🕐 1:00–2:30 PM at EHS Kiwanis Field
Open to seniors only

Senior Parade Downtown
🕖 7:00 PM
Seniors set up at 6:00 PM in the EHS student parking lot; Parade on C Street in front of the Courthouse.

June 6

Potential Additional Graduation Practice (if deemed necessary)
🕣 8:30–10:00 AM at EHS Kiwanis Field
Open to seniors only

Graduation Ceremony
🕖 7:00 PM at EHS Kiwanis Field
🎟️ Gates open for seating at 5:00 PM (seating is available on a first come, first serve basis - Senior citizens and wheelchair accessible seating will be available on the football field and track)
🎓 Seniors report to the Commons at 6:15 PM to prepare for the ceremony (seniors only, please)

📄 Diplomas & Transcripts

🎓 Diplomas, final transcripts, and immunization records will be mailed within two weeks after the last day of school.
📨 Upon request, we will send official transcripts to colleges, universities, the military, or technical schools.
