At Esperanza College Prep, we are committed to the high-quality instruction and personalized support that is tailored to the needs of each student. As part of the Ednovate network of independent, free, public charters, we have the autonomy and flexibility to adapt our school to the needs of our students.
That means not only providing a high-quality, college-prep education in the classroom, but it also means we help students develop their sense of purpose and a clear vision for their future after completing college.
Fundamental to our model is building a safe and welcoming school culture with high expectations while fostering student confidence and independence. Esperanza opened its doors in East Los Angeles in August of 2017 to a founding class of freshmen. We have expanded one grade level per year and will serve our first full enrollment of grades 9–12 in the fall of 2020.
Esperanza provides students and families with a safe and nurturing school environment, and take pride in fostering a tight-knit community with a shared mission of lifting our students and helping them make positive multigenerational change.
