7th Grade is a transition year. It is a process! Students learn how to juggle several courses (and teachers), activities and the attention of friends and family. Their grading system changes to a traditional 0-100 system. Theses grades will be determined by homework, tests/quizzes, projects and class participation. Completing and turning in homework is a must in order to be successful.
Teachers and School Counselors teach how to stay organized and give tips on time management. Keeping their folders, binders and lockers organized helps! Each student also receives an agenda to write down their assignments and due dates. The age of technology has changed some of the focus. This includes the use of Google Classroom and the option to use Google Calendar to stay organized. "If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!"
