    "After graduating from Davies I worked in the banking industry for a number of years, earned a Bachelor's degree in pre-law, and went on to earn a Juris Doctor's degree from law school on a full scholarship. I am now a litigation attorney in Rhode Island. Looking back, I realize that my time and experience at Davies was invaluable to making me who I am today.     Ivan De Sousa, Class of 2017

    Mrs. Wardyga would like to congratulate Ivan De Sousa, a 2017 graduate of Davies' Health Careers program, on his recent graduation from URI this May. Ivan was a multilingual learner that persevered and never lost sight of his goals. He received a Bachelor's in Health Sciences and plans on continuing his studies by pursuing a doctorate in physical therapy. Mrs. Wardyga shares your excitement and wishes you the best of luck.

    N’Deye Dabo '13 hopes to help improve medical care around the world

    While growing up in Senegal, URI College of Pharmacy student N’Deye Dabo saw firsthand the health disparities people face in the African country. The experience solidified her desire to enter the medical field, ultimately choosing pharmacy, with a goal of eventually working in international medicine.

    Janet Butler, Biomanufacturing instructor at Davies, remembers what 2014 graduate Andrea Silva was like as a student. “She was never really sure of things,” Butler says. “She always asked a lot of questions. ‘I don’t get this right away.’ Now three years later, she’s a published author.”
