• WHAT IS THE SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL?

The School Site Council is a leadership team composed of the Chancellor, Professor representatives, other school personnel, and parents of Scholars attending Rhodes.

The School Site Council (SSC) 's primary responsibility is developing and monitoring a school plan.  This plan becomes the instrument by which the school establishes a common agreement regarding educational strategies. The task of the SSC is to ensure that the school is continually engaged in identifying and implementing curriculum and instructional practices that strengthen the core academic program and ensure that students have access to and succeed in that program.

The SSC meets four times a year. The public is welcome to attend any School Site Council meeting. Agendas are published at least 72 hours before each meeting.
