It has been a wonderful life for Mrs. Liermann. She has moved many times throughout the years. As a child, she attended six elementary schools, because her father was an officer in the Army. Some of those schools were in other countries. Everywhere she went, there were interesting kids to meet, and places to explore.
Before moving to Port Charlotte during the summer of 2006, Mrs. Liermann taught in Colorado, Wisconsin, New York and Ft. Lauderdale. She loves working with the OMEGA students and parents at two locations in Charlotte County: Meadow Park Elementary and Vineland Elementary. Her students really make each day exciting and interesting! Charlotte County is a beautiful and friendly place to live. Looking at the abundant water, trees, plants, and creatures (even the snakes!) never gets tiring.
At home, Mrs. Liermann and her husband have five children, who are grown, and sprinkled around the United States. She loves keeping busy. Reading, gardening, traveling, e-mailing friends, working with stained and fused glass, wood working, and home improvement projects are some of her favorite hobbies. Getting dirty is part of the fun!
As you know, Mrs. Liermann is very nosy. She really enjoys learning the interesting information that students find. Going to school is almost as much fun as teaching it. Her biggest hope is that all children will grow up feeling the same way, because she is sure their lives will also always be interesting!
