Mr. Huber
Sean Huber is an amazing teacher, who has been making an impact on a great many students in 29 years. He has an interesting background, career and life. Perhaps the most interesting part of Huber is his background. Born and raised in Big Rapids, Michigan, Huber knew he wanted to become a teacher from an early age because both his mom and dad were in education. When he moved out of Michigan to go to college, he ended up in Orlando attending UCF where he played football. Another large influence in his life has always been his father who always helped him get through the bad times. Sean is a teacher who loves his job and is loved by his students. Huber has taught a wide variety of subjects at a wide variety of schools. Huber has taught team sports, health, personal fitness, athletic training, anatomy and physiology, and weight training at L.A. Ainger, Boone High School in Orlando and of course, Lemon Bay. He loves to teach the subjects he does because, "It has the most influence over a great number of students in school." The most memorable moments at Lemon Bay for this most beloved teacher are when Lemon Bay won its first district championship in football, winning the District Championship in basketball in 2018 and being named Coach Of The Year, and beating Charlotte for the first time in football.. Although at first glance it is easy to assume Huber is just another life long athletics guy, that couldn't be farther from the truth. Huber is a very sophisticated man. His interests include sports, music and cooking "real men cook" he said and his favorite quote is from Shakespeare's St. Crispin's Day speech where King Henry V addresses his troops before battle. A small part of it reads, "If we are mark'd to die, we are enow to do our country loss; and if to live, the fewer men, the greater share of honor."He is, indeed, more than just a gym teacher. He currently is the Head Boys Golf Coach.
