I’m Jane Silva. I was born and raised in the Garden State of New Jersey.  I received a B.A in early Childhood Education from Montclair State University. Go Hawks!  I taught 3rd grade for 9 years before before I moved to sunny Englewood, Florida in July 2014. Since then, I have taught at 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade here at Vineland Elementary School.  I am have an endorsement in Reading as well as iin Gifted Education and am certified in ESE.

I am fortunate to have two 2 remarkable daughters, Sophie & Charli, a cherished and spirited dog named Giggs and a wonderful husband, Tom. Both Sophie and Charli attend VES because it’s the BEST!  I grew up surrounded by the Portuguese culture & speak the language fluently. I’m a hard worker and promise to always do my best so that your child gets the ultimate educational experience.
