We love to have volunteers at Pleasant Valley! Volunteers who are eighteen years or older must complete an ODE (Oregon Department of Education) background check. Please call the front office at 503.762.3209 to get more information on this process. There is a $5.00 fee (cash or check made out to Pleasant Valley) and the background check is good at any Centennial School District school for three years.

In compliance with OAR 333-019-1030 and to support the health and safety of all students and staff in our schools, the district is asking that all volunteers complete our vaccination verification form.
To complete this form, you will be asked to upload verification of your vaccination. Proof of vaccination may include, but is not limited to a COVID-19 vaccination record card, a copy or digital picture of the vaccination record card, or a print-out from the Oregon Health Authority’s immunization registry.
Given that medical and religious exceptions for volunteers constitute an undue hardship to the District, unvaccinated volunteers cannot continue to provide services in the District. The District will consider on-going guidance from OHA and ODE regarding the level of contact unvaccinated volunteers have with students and staff in our schools as the school year progresses.
