The Social Studies Department at Carrizo Springs Junior High is proud to welcome students and families to a year of exploration, critical thinking, and meaningful connections to the world around us. Our goal is to help students understand history, geography, government, and cultures in ways that foster informed citizenship and a deeper appreciation for our diverse society.

Our dedicated educators are committed to creating engaging lessons that encourage discussion, analysis, and curiosity. Through projects, primary sources, and real-world connections, students will build the skills they need to think historically, act responsibly, and become thoughtful members of their communities.
