Hi!  My name is Kristin Benjamin, I am a Public Health Nurse with the Cabarrus Health Alliance.  I am so excited about starting my fifth year at Mount Pleasant Middle School, where I am known as Nurse Benjamin.  I received my Nursing Diploma from Reading Hospital School of Nursing in 2007, my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2018, and in the spring of 2021 I earned my National School Nurse Certification.

I have 4 children and 3 have gone or are going through the Mount Pleasant Schools.  Courtney ives in Mahattan, Caelan, attends East Carolina University, Hayden, attends Mount Pleasant High School and Graeden, my youngest, attends Mount Pleasant Middle.  We moved to this area in December of 2015. We love this area and hope to never leave.  I have been a nurse for 15 years and my background includes Labor and Delivery, Public Health, Pediatrics and Family Medicine.  I am so excited to be in Public Health again as a school nurse and hope this is the school I will be servicing for many years to come.
