GET READY, GET SET, GO!!!    I am excited about building our relationship with you and your child.  This is my 37th year teaching.  I promise I am as energetic now as I was when I started. I have a deep passion for educating children and watching magic happen.   

I am certified in grades K-6.  I have a Master's Degree in Reading Education K-12, and an Administrative Degree.

My hobbies include reading, running, and going to the beach. My new hobby is knitting.

I have been married for 23 years. My husband is a photographer. I have 2 daughters; Emma, age 20, is a sophomore at NC State University.  Evan, age 19,  is a freshman at Appalachian State University.
