Welcome to Mount Pleasant Middle School! 

I grew up in Cabarrus County. I attended J.N. Fries Middle School and graduated from Hickory High School. Following High School, I attended Central Piedmont Community College and graduated with an associates degree. I then earned my B.A. in History and Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I continued my education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte by earning my Master's Degree in Teaching. 

I have taught 6th grade Social Studies for three years. This will be my first year teaching 7th grade Social Studies. I am excited about teaching 7th Grade Social Studies at Mount Pleasant Middle School.
