Burton School District and its stakeholders aim to prepare students for life in the 21st Century by integrating technology into their day to day learning, ultimately increasing communication skills, fostering creativity, and allowing students to become active members of a global society.
In order to live this philosophy, in partnership with Apple, we have implemented 1:World access for all students across the district.
Learners check out their devices at the beginning of the year, and are able to take them home each day to guarantee continued access. Additionally, each school site has a designated set of loaner devices that can be used by students in the event of repairs that need to be made to their assigned device, or in the event that the student has left their device at home.
