English 9

Welcome to English 9!!  

We will start with short stories and then read To Kill a Mockingbird, Antigone, and Romeo and Juliet. We will also read some of the following novels:  Of Mice and Men, Lord of the Flies, When the Emperor was Divine, and Farewell to Manzanar.

In addition, you will conduct research, study non-fiction and rhetorical strategies, and write from sources.

You will be required to have a three ring binder for English only (2 inch), with looseleaf paper.  You will also need a composition book
