Project Read is a required reading assignment that appears in our weekly FRES 4 Newsletter. Completing the assignment is a way for your child to share the book he or she is currently reading at home and apply reading strategies and skills we have learned in class. Students are expected to complete the assignment as they are reading a chapter book independently each night.

Throughout the school year, we will focus on summarizing, making connections to the text, text-tagging, character development, visualizing, inferencing, cause and effect, and using context clues.
