Jump Rope for Heart - It takes Heart to be a Hero!
-
We want to help the American Heart Association SHAPE the nation and fight cardiovascular disease. French Road paves the way every year ($103,077 last year) in motivating their community, and communities around the nation to help raise money for AHA. The AHA goal is to help people understand that heart disease affects many people and their families and how to lead a healthy life! Living a healthy life means more time with family and loved ones!
The Brighton community prides itself on philanthropy and we are proud to educate our students about the deep impact a program like this has. The students understand their motivation to raise money comes from helping those that are affected by heart disease. By participating in the Jump Rope for Heart event in February they, in turn, get to participate in an extracurricular fitness activity which is a goal of a heart disease free life!
