Joel Anderson received his Bachelor of Social Science in criminology and psychology from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, special education teaching license through St. Mary’s University, and Masters of Science in Education Degree in Education Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Throughout his career, Joel has supported children and adolescents in multiple roles including residential direct care, special education case management, Director of Special Education, and most recently as a Special Services Supervisor with the St. Croix River Education District. Originally from the Brainerd Lakes Area, he and his family are very excited to be moving back to the area. Joel and his family really enjoy spending time outside, riding bikes, fishing, boating, and exploring.
