Hello and welcome to Kindergarten!

My name is Gina Newman and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year! Kindergarten is a very special time when children experience significant social, emotional, and cognitive development. I believe that each child brings their unique talents, experiences, and personality to our classroom family. As your child's teacher, I will be there with your child every step of the way to teach, support, and encourage them in all that they do!

I am originally from Buffalo, NY but have lived in Mississippi for the last three years. I received my MS of Education in 2019 from Niagara University with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. This will be my fourth year teaching Kindergarten and my fifth year in education. I am a proud mama to my beautiful little girl, Charlotte, and my furbabies Ollie and Penny. I cannot wait to have your child in my class this year, and I know it will be an excellent year because BBE is the place to be!
