My name is Dee Dee Gilbert and I will be your child's 6th grade Science and Social Studies teacher this year! I am a native of Biloxi and went to Popp's Ferry Elementary and BHS! I have my Bachelor's Degree in Education with an endorsement in business and SPED K-12. This makes my twenty-second year of teaching.

I have a son, Zack, who is a recording artist in New Orleans  and Nashville, a fantastic husband of 10 years, and cats!

I am looking forward to another great year at BUE!!
