Ms. Charlotte Hise

Hello, my name is Charlotte Hise. I will be teaching 6^th Grade science and social studies this year. It is my second year at Biloxi Upper Elementary. Before coming to Biloxi Upper, I taught 7^th and 8^th Grade ELA at Stone County Middle School and 4^th-6^th Grade ELA, social studies, and science at Orange Grove Elementary.

I have three children who all graduated from St. Martin, but my roots are in Biloxi. Before earning my teaching certification, I worked as an assistant teacher for nine years in the St. Martin School District.

When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my four grandchildren.  We love to travel and explore new places across the country. In addition, I enjoy volunteering with my church’s student ministry.

It is an honor to teach at my Alma Mater in the building in which I attended high school! I am excited to meet my new students! I inspire to instill a love of learning in every student and look forward to working with you and your child this year.
