Welcome to 5th grade ELA at Biloxi Upper Elementary!  I am ecstatic about the start of a brand new school year! This year holds new beginnings for our fifth graders and exciting adventures in learning.  

To give some background on my educational pursuits, I am a graduate of University of Southern Mississippi and William Carey University.  My undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Southern Mississippi with an emphasis in Elementary Education.  My graduate studies were completed at William Carey University with an emphasis in Elementary Education as well.  

I have been a trailblazer in education since 1993.  My past experiences include teaching grade levels K-4.  Through these experiences, I have gained a wealth of knowledge to assist in helping your child to develop a love for learning.  In the classroom, learning expectations are set high and students are asked to work diligently to meet those expectations.  I believe  in working together with families to help students reach their highest levels of achievement.
