The mission of Etowah Middle School's Library Media Center is to foster a love for reading with our students in hopes they will become life long learners who are information literate. This mission shall be accomplished in the following manner:

Provide intellectual and physical access to a variety of resources that allow students to utilize materials suited best for their mode of learning.

Enrich the curriculum through authentic learning situations which cause students to use ideas and information effectively.

Provide instruction that stimulates interest in reading and learning for both enjoyment and information.
