Abigail Parent Rebeske

Abigail Parent Rebeske is Lattie Coor’s Master Level Social Worker - specializing in children, youth and families. She earned her Master’s degree from Arizona State University and is currently enrolled at Grand Canyon University (GCU) for a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership: Specializing in Behavioral Health in a K-12 Setting. Rebeske has worked in schools and law enforcement (specializing in crimes against children). 

The needs, success and safety of the children and families I work with are my top priority. I believe in the philosophy 'It takes a village…’, says Rebeske.

Her dedication has earned her the School Social Worker of the Year Award in 2016 through the state of Arizona. She has extensive experience working with child sexual abuse, child physical abuse, domestic violence and adult sexual assault victims: children, adolescents and families.

Stephanie Loyer

Stephanie Loyer is Lattie Coor’s school social worker. Her prior experience includes working with children in school-based counseling and case management. Loyer also has experience with advocacy and emotional support for victims of domestic violence, families recovering from trauma and surviving victims of homicide. Her previous experiences include creating change on a systemic level and supporting those living in tribal communities/rural areas throughout Arizona. Loyer is passionate about assisting families and their capacity to function optimally and re-engage in their daily lives following trauma, hardship and crisis. 

She earned her B.S.W. from Northern Arizona University and her M.S.W. from Arizona State University.

Amber Bugs

Amber Bugs has dedicated over 10 years working directly with children, previously as a home childcare provider and going on 3 years as the school nurse for both Lattie Coor Elementary and Avondale Middle School. As the school nurse, she serves as an advocate for students, families, school staff and the community. She supports student success by providing health care through assessments, interventions, and follow-up care for all children within the school setting. She also manages students who have chronic health conditions and students with disabilities. This includes giving them medication as needed and working with parents and teachers to create and enforce care plans. Amber addresses the physical, mental, emotional and social health needs of students and supports their achievement in the learning process and relays information as needed to our school social worker, counselor and psychologist.
