School Policies

Copper Trails School Policies

  • To ensure that Copper Trails is a safe and respectful learning environment for all students, staff, and visitors it is important that the following policies are maintained and followed. If you have any questions or concerns please contact any member of the administration team.

Student Sign Out

  • All students must be signed out through the front office during school hours. The person signing the student out must be listed on the student registration form and must show ID upon request. Parents or guardians are not permitted on campus or in the classrooms with out checking into the front office first.

School Visits

  • We welcome parents and community members to visit Copper Trails School. It is important to sign in the front office before going into classrooms or any location on the campus. All visitors must also wear visitors badge at all times while on campus. If you plan on visiting a classroom please ensure that you contact the teacher first.

Class Treats

  • Due to the Arizona state law all treats brought to the school for special events must be pre-packaged. Unfortunately, homemade treats are unable to be consumed by students during school hours. If you have any questions or concerns about what can be distributed to students please review the state law, visit the Arizona Department of Education website or contact the school.

Traffic / Parent Pick-up

  • Parents who bring their children by car should unload and pick up children in the school's parking lot off Canyon Trails Blvd. In order to alleviate congestion and to speed the process of safely loading and unloading children in front of school. The staff at Copper Trails respectfully asks that your honor the following guidelines:

    1.  Please be a good role model for our children by waiting for your turn in line.

    2.  Please use the designated drop off/pick up area. Do not drop off students undesignated areas.

    3.   Please obey all posted traffic signs.

    4.   Use crosswalks to cross a drive areas.
