AESD Athletics

The mission statement of the AESD Athletic Department is to serve the needs of our student population through extracurricular activities. We firmly believe that our athletic programs support academic learning and positively influence student successes in school.

Through sports, our students are educated in lifetime skill areas such as team unity, pride, loyalty and sportsmanship.

Furthermore, we proudly embrace our tradition of excellence and a philosophy, which holds our athletic program as a privilege and not a right. With this privilege comes the responsibility of maintaining high academic, conduct, moral and ethical standards.

Hailee Nanchy

Hailee Nanchy was named the Athletic Director for Avondale Elementary School District at the start of the 2023-2024 school year. Hailee brings with her a ton of experience and a passion for athletics. Hailee played College Softball at the University of Minnesota and was a Varsity softball coach in the valley for 15 years. Hailee is also a former Director for U.S. Fastpitch camps and has assisted many athletes in pursuing their dreams of obtaining athletic scholarships. Hailee is excited to join the Athletic Department at Avondale Elementary and is looking forward to seeing all of the student-athletes shine on and off the field.
