What Is Dual Language Immersion
Dual Language Immersion is where students receive instruction in two different languages helping children become bilingual. Desert Thunder School uses a 50/50 model where students are instructed in English 50% of the day, and in Spanish 50% of the day. Features of the program include:

All students in grades K-8 receive a Dual Language education
Students in 7-8 grades take Spanish at Desert Edge High School
