Hello! My name is Beth Dayton and I am currently a Special Education and History teacher at Etowah High School. I graduated from Emma Sansom High School in 1989 and then from Auburn University in 1994 with my Bachelors Degree in Social Work. I worked in the social work field for ten years and remain a licensed social worker. It was while I was working with therapeutic foster children, I decided to go back to school to become a special education teacher. I finished my Masters in Special Education from Jacksonville State in 2004 and began my teaching career at Etowah Middle School. I transferred to Etowah High School after seven years. I have one daughter who graduated from Etowah High School in 2015.
