District residents interested in running for a Board of Education position should contact the District Clerk, at (631) 267-3652 or DistrictClerk@aufsd.org for information.
Packets and petitions nominating candidates for the office of Trustee of the Board of Education will be made available in the District Clerk's Office. Please call (631) 267-3652 to make an appointment to obtain petitions.
Completed nominating petitions must be filed with the District Clerk at the Amagansett UFSD 320 Main Street, Amagansett, NY 11930, not later than 5:00 pm prevailing time on Monday, April 21, 2025.
Nominating petitions are to be submitted for two (2) vacancies on the Board of Education each commencing July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2028.
Petitions are to be signed by at least 25 qualified voters of the district; must state the name and residence of each signer, and must state the name and residence of the candidate.
